Summer Lovin'

We have had an amazing summer camping, swimming, spending time with family, BBQs, and now recently Disc Golf. We went to Redfish Lake with my family at the beginning of August and had a great time. It was Carter's first camping trip and he did awesome. I woke up and checked on him every hour to make sure he was warm enough. We had a good time Mike came up on Friday night and surprised me which is always fun! A couple of weekends ago we went camping with our friends, The Davis' up at Wade Lake. We had an amazing time and a perfect camping spot!! we had a great time we also went up to Cliff Lake and went on a giant rope swing it was super high, and super fun. It has been a fantastic summer here are a couple of pictures of our summer.

Mike went to IF every week to play on Brittney's Softball team. It was fun because
Mike got to play softball which he loves, and I got to hang out with my family which I love.

BABY you're a FIREWORK!!

Well, it has been a month since the fourth of July but i did want to post our ventures on this great holiday. We spent the fourth with my family in Idaho Falls. On Saturday we went to Rigby Lake with my family it was fun but very crowded because Rigby does their fireworks a day earlier than the rest of the world. On Sunday our sweet little niece was blessed and we hung out at my brother's house most of the afternoon. Then on Monday Mike woke up super early to go golfing with my dad and brothers, and Carter and I slept in, it was very nice:) After the boys got home from golfing we went to my parents house to have a BBQ and played on their slip'n'slide that went down the pit in their backyard. It was fun and painful all at the same time. I got some lovely grass burns on my legs and Mike got some on his stomach. We then went down to Freeman Park to watch the Fireworks. We got to see my best friend and her family and Mike played catch with my niece for about an hour and a half. I was a little worried about Carter being fussy at the fireworks because he was having a hard time all day just crying and being fussy, but fortunately he was a champ he stared at the fireworks and when there was a bright one or loud "BOOM" he would kick his legs and get really excited, he loved them. We had a very enjoyable time. It was a great Fourth of July weekend!

Sleep, Eat and Play

These last couple of weeks have been pretty fun we have just been hanging out and having a great summer. Mike started his job working as a home loan officer. He passed both his state and fedral tests this week and is excited to get started. I also returned to work at the gym coaching Preteam, I work for six hours a week which is fun, because I get to see the girls and stay close to those at the gym, but I don't have to leave Carter for very long. Carter is a super cute baby we had his two month appointment where he weighed 11lbs 7oz and is in the 20% for weight and measured at 22'' and is in the 4% for height, which wasn't too surprising see that his parents aren't the tallest kid in class. After his shot naturally he was unhappy but he did pretty good he cried right after and then toughened up quick. That whole day however he was so tired and slept all day and all night waking up enough to eat.

We found out that he loves to sleep on his tummy but of corse only for naps.

He does great at night he gets his bath and then nurses, wrapped up tight and put to bed by 9:30 then he wakes up at 5 or 6 and then eats and goes right back to sleep till 8 or 9 he is getting really good at it.Carter loves to sleep here is a couple of funny picutes of him sleeping.

Mike took this one morning after he went running. He wakes up early and goes running almost every morning.

Well we have been playing alot this summer going horse back riding, four wheeling and shooting. We love to stay busy and take Carter with us he does really well. When we went horse back riding he was watched by Grandpa Williams as we rode around for a while. During shooting we kept him in the car so the sound wouldn't bother him, he was just a couple of feet from us where we could check on him every so often. For fourwheeling we strapped him to my chest and he loved and cuddled with mom and slept the whole time.

After Mike and I went on our ride he took Carter and a short little walk around the barn.

Carter loved to look at the leaves on the trees.

We have alot of fun with our little man!! We  love his smiles and his cooing, sneezing and everything between.

Blessing Day!

Well, it's official his name is Carter Michael Williams blessed on June 5th 2011. We had a great day my whole family was able to come up and support us and we had a great time.

Carter is a very sweet baby, he is demanding for sure and seems to want to eat all the time, he has started to smile and make some pretty funny faces. He really enjoys taking baths (so long as he's not hungry). I always wanted a cuddly baby but Carter is not. He loves to look out and lift his head off my chest and see whats going on, it's pretty adorable really!! He has big blue eyes. We love our little man. Here are some pictures of him throughout the last two months.

Introducing the Williams Family!!

Hello, This is my very first post and I am not quite sure how everything works. Mike told me its like a monthly or weekly christmas card. So, I will start with the month of April. It has been very exciting, stressful, exhausting but rewarding. On our 36 week doctors appointment Dr.Cox noticed I was measuring smaller than I was the week previous. he told us to go get an ultrasound and check to make sure everything was fine. The next day, Thursday, we went to our ultrasound where they found that my amniotic fluid was low and it was dangerous to continue the pregnancy. After the doctors we started running around all day Thursday trying to prepare ourselves and our house for the baby we thought was coming 4 weeks later. At 1:30 am the hospital called and told us to come in and start the process of being induced. After 26 hours of labor at 3:30 I finally got the Epidural. After which was smooth sailing. By 8:10 on April 9, 2011our beautiful baby boy was finally here and he was 5lbs. 6oz.We named him Carter Michael Williams. When he was born he had a little bit of labored breathing and the nurses needed to give him oxygen and take him to the NICU. I thought it would be a couple of hours I knew that he was early but I felt like he was healthy. Throughout the next week Mike and I were in and out of the NICU. Feeding and trying to grow close to our little Carter. He needed fluid IVs and a feeding tube and during the week his billy rueben was pretty high which they put him under the phototherapy lights. He liked the lights he looked like he was tanning. By Sunday we took him home and have been holding him constantly and taking a million pictures kissing his increasingly growing cheeks. We love our beautiful baby I feel so blessed to live in the day and age of technology where they can tell if there is something wrong and safely bring the perfect miracles to earth. I'm exciting to finally be a part of the blogging world and hope those of you who read this enjoy it greatly! :)
