This summer has been crazy! We have been running around every weekend going to Moab, our cabin, and family reunions and every where in between. But what I really want to blog about today is how blessed I feel to have Mike and Carter in my life. Two days ago I lost my wedding ring, which is really weird because it fits perfectly, and I was so so so devastated. We searched high and low, under and over things everywhere. I noticed it gone when I was at work, but I just had a feeling it was somewhere at home. Naturally, I started praying and my heart was broken and I cried pretty much all day on Monday. At night I kept dreaming I found my ring and I was so happy, then I woke up and realized it was still gone and wanted to cry. I just really wanted my ring back. This ring is perfect for me! Mike picked it out every part of it he hand picked the diamond, the band, everything. Anyway I missed it and there was a hole in my heart, everytime I touched my hand.
Two days later, still no ring, but I was still hopeful and prayerful. Then I was in the living honestly thinking, 'I need a miracle right about now' then right in the middle of my living room there it was BOTH of the rings, engagment and wedding band. I was so happy I jumped up and down and screamed and cried! I kept saying 'Thank you' I got my miracle! I am sooooo HAPPY!!! Prayers do work! Quick post but I wanted to yell it from the roof tops and blogging is the next best thing!

Old Married Couple
I am sitting here in our living room, Carter is asleep, Mike is watching golf, and I realized I don't think I like to watch golf : ) just kidding. I always knew I didn't like to watch golf. as we started our night ritual putting Carter to bed, then winding down our days in our different ways. Mike winds down by watching a couple holes of golf, I wind down by knitting, cross-stiching, online scrapbooking, or blogging. Then it hit me we are like old married folks whose names are Martha and George (I don't know if those are old names, but I swear there are so many Georges that are married to marthas, and they tend to be at an advanced age) I find this funny, I think this would depress me if we didn't have a great time during the day. We have had a really good month.
We were able to do the Bengal Triathlon at ISU at the end of April. This Triathlon is so fun! I love it! the swim is the night before which is nice because you don't have to ride your bike wet, and the run is around campus on red hill, which is a very scenic run. For the swim we just went with Carter and switched inbetween our swims. Mike did great! While swimming I think about everything except how many laps I have done. This was my thought process on just my first lap. I hope I do good, what if I could swim super fast like Michael Phelps, the olympics are this summer, I love summer, I should plant tomatoes next week so I could have salsa this summer, I want salsa, ooo I want Coasta Vida:) and so on. So you can see by the time the girl counting my laps gave me the, 'last lap' sign I was a little unprepared and I realized I could have gone a lot faster, but I was okay with my time. After the swim I had the worst headache so Mike decided it would be best if we went to get some food and we went to Coasta Vida,YAY!! which to me is like a drug! I ate my pork salad(with salsa) and with in the first two bites I was instantly cured!! I'm telling you I could have Coasta Vida every day and be a Happy Camper. But then they would make a sitcom about me and how bad it is to eat out everyday. The next day for the Bike/Run portion of the TRI we woke up early and Dad Williams (I got the saying 'Dad Williams' from Tosha. Thanks tosh) helped watch Carter for us as we did the TRI. After the athletes finished the TRI they had Kiwi Loco for everyone in the tri, drug number two for me:) They also had bagels from 5th street bagelry.YUM! Honestly, most people do triathlons to be fit, work out, push themselves to do better, go faster and all that fun stuff, on the other hand there is me, who signs up to get a shirt, frozen yogurt and bagels. I know, I know there are easier ways of getting shirts, frozen yogurt and bagels without swimming 700yds, biking 11 miles and running a 5k (3.2 miles) but I also love the atmosphere, people and the feeling of being a part of something. This was my third triathlon and I have to say it has been my favorite I loved every minute of it! maybe because after the Tri Dad Williams took us to . . .you guest it, Coasta Vida :D I know I need help I'M ADDICTED.
Then after lunch we went home to relax for a while but not long because Mike's friend Greg invited us to go fourwheeling that night. It was so much fun Carter loved to sit bewteen us and kept falling asleep. It was so beautiful up there because everything was starting to turn green and the flowers were blooming.

Valentine's Day!
This New Year has been crazy so far. At the end of January I was lucky to be able to watch my friends four kids while her and her husband went to Hawaii for ten days. Mike and I had a lot of fun having five kids for a week and a half. After that I had another opportunity to watch my sister's three kids while she and her husband went to St. John's. Maybe next time it will be Mike and my turn for a tropical get away. But it has been very busy in the Williams household and many others this year. I miss my ward, however I have only been to church in my ward a couple of times. It has been fun to see how other wards work and meet different people. It is always so amazing to me that no matter where you are the Spirit is always the same. I am not going to lie I am very excited to be done babysitting I miss my house and my simple life with just one little guy crawling around. It is like seeing into the our future.
This picture is of my nephew and Carter drinking their bottles. I now can say without a doubt that twins is a wonderful job and whoever can do it full-time is a truly amazing person. Carter was crawling around my sister's kitchen and he got stuck in the chair It was funny to try and watch him figure it out how to get unstuck. He got really frustrated and I finally had to help him out. He loves to get into all sorts of things now his favorite by far is our DVD cupboard and throwing them all over. We love Carter he is such a happy baby he smiles at everyone and doesn't mind being held by anyone. Very friendly and I hope it stays so happy and kind throughout life.

Carter loves to play the Piano he crawls over to the piano and pulls himself up and plays the best he can. Then I put him on the bench and he goes crazy hitting the keys and dancing to his own music.
For Valentine's Day I was at my sister's house in Utah babysitting, of course, and Mike had to work so we just planned on celebrating after I got back. Then while I was changing a diaper (which is a good percentage of my time with two) there was a knock at the door, there was Mike. He drove all the way down to spend Valentine's Day with me. And he bought me what I have wanted for a long time!! A CAMERA!! None the pictures on this post are from my new camera but soon enough. I love Mike so much and he is so thoughtful and kind. I am so lucky to have him in my life.
